How much does epoxy flooring cost in SEQ?+
Pricing depends on the size of the area, condition of the concrete, how much preparation or removal is required, access to the site and the flooring system selected. Send your approximate square metres and photos for a more useful quote.
How long does an epoxy floor take?+
The timeframe depends on the floor condition, preparation required, system build and cure times. A straightforward project can move quickly, while floors needing removal, repairs or additional preparation require more time. We can give you a realistic schedule once the floor is assessed.
Why is concrete grinding important before epoxy?+
Mechanical grinding removes weak surface material and contaminants while creating a suitable profile for the coating system. Skipping or underdoing preparation can compromise adhesion, regardless of how good the coating itself is.
Can you remove old coatings, glue or tiles?+
Floor preparation can include removal of old coatings, adhesives, tile residue and other materials depending on the substrate and what is being installed next. Send photos of the existing floor so we can assess the likely preparation method.
Is polished concrete suitable for homes and commercial spaces?+
Yes, polished concrete can suit many residential and commercial interiors when the slab, intended use and desired finish are appropriate. Existing slab condition and aggregate exposure will influence the final appearance.
